In his current role as senior manager of technical marketing at Wowza Media Systems, Ryan drives the creation of the webinar series and training content. His goal is to educate customers about streaming and Wowza products, as well as how to deliver streaming media solutions easily and effectively.Ryan earned his BS in computer science from the University of Málaga in Spain. |

John Luther, JW Player SVP of Product Strategy
At JW Player, John's mission is to ensure that we keep our customers on the leading edge of video technology through product innovation, industry leadership and involvement in web standards. He has worked in digital video for more than 12 years and is a recognized online media industry expert and featured speaker at Google I/O, YouTube Developers Live, Streaming Media West, OTTtv World Summit, Open Video Conference, FOMS and others. As VP of Product Management at On2 Technologies, John oversaw the company's VPx video compression technologies and Flix Cloud transcoding service. After Google acquired On2 in 2010, John managed HTML5 video technologies in the Google Chrome web browser and led the WebM open video project. He is most proud of his work standardizing media APIs for the open web platform (Media Source, Encrypted Media, WebVTT) because it allows the web to be accessible to everyone. John holds a BA in English from Penn State University. |

John West, Wowza Senior Solutions Engineer
A 5-year veteran of Wowza Media Systems, John brings 25 years of experience working with video graphics technology. Joining Wowza to assist with the beta test program for Wowza Server 2, John has gone on to work with thousands of clients around the globe. John now focuses exclusively on the solutions engineering role. John has a BS in Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University where he also completed graduate coursework while working as a research assistant as MSU’s National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center. |
